Description: This classic home in Minneapolis' historic Kenwood neighborhood was in desperate need of an update. A cloistered floor plan made the house feel dark and disjointed, while a pair of unfortunately placed staircases presented circulation issues. Our solution was to build a new stairwell outside of the existing footprint of the house. In doing so, we were able to resolve any circulation issues, while also freeing up space for a new kitchen on the main level and a bedroom suite upstairs.
