Description: Craft designed and built this Golden Valley home for an active young family not far from the heart of the Twin Cities. Large windows in the family room open towards a lake just yards from the home, bringing in plenty of natural light and forging a strong connection to the outdoors. Utilizing a combination of staggered wall framing, innovative insulation, energy efficient heating and cooling equipment and a solar array on the roof, this house is near net zero for energy use on an annual basis. This is the future of energy efficient homes and is achievable for both new and existing homes.
